As an Automation Engineer (OSIsoft PI), you will contribute to the deployment and implementation of the new digital solution, helping to smooth the process. You will work together with your team on exciting projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with diverse teams to integrate OSIsoft PI systems with MES, ERP, and other third-party platforms.
- Implement high-availability systems and disaster recovery plans for OSIsoft PI infrastructures.
- Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for smooth system adoption and operation.
- Configure, validate, and tune PI Servers and interfaces.
- Tailor client software, including PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, and RtReports.
- Demonstrate expertise in OPC network protocols and other industrial communication network protocols.
Requirements
- A passion for OSIsoft PI software system implementation and maintenance.
- At least 3 years of experience in automation and cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, for PI integration and deployment.
- Understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning concepts to support predictive maintenance and optimization initiatives.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and French.
- An engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
