IKEA Belgium is seeking a talented and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations align with local and international laws and regulations.
Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day legal support to our business, identifying and mitigating legal risks, and implementing best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements and legal documents, as well as handling corporate housekeeping and providing guidance on governance and compliance matters.
We are looking for a strategic business partner with excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of legislation, government policies, and business environments. If you have a Master's degree in law from a Belgian university and a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a legal environment, we encourage you to apply.
