As a Senior Buyer at PROGRESSIO BV, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's procurement strategy and driving business growth. The position requires a strong understanding of public procurement laws and regulations, as well as exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve category savings and improve supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation and internal policies
- Provide guidance and support to internal customers on procurement-related matters
- Manage procurement projects from inception to completion, including stakeholder management and contract administration
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in tactical and strategic public procurement or a related field
- Jr/Medior/Senior knowledge of procurement and negotiation techniques, including supplier sourcing, selection, and management
- Expertise in services procurement, with awareness of industry trends and best practices in marketing, HR, operational, insurance, soft technical, and banking services
- TCO mindset, opportunity identification, quantitative analysis, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting techniques (Oracle, Business Objects)
- Fluency in English and Dutch or French
