We are seeking a highly skilled Pilot Line Engineer to join our team at imec, a world-leading research center in nanotechnology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation in diffusion and anneal tools, ensuring the highest quality and reproducibility in our cleanroom operations.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance tool qualification, stability, and performance.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to processing, enabling first and second-line trouble shooters to step up.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and address recurring issues.
- Experimental Design: Design and execute experimental plans in the cleanroom, analyzing data and reporting results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, hardware engineers, operations, and industry experts in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- Shift Work: Work in a two-shift system, including one weekend shift every four weeks.

Requirements- Master's Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent by experience.

- Problem-Solving: Manage multiple priorities in a flexible manner, with a proactive attitude and a focus on quality and reproducibility.
- Communication: Possess strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment, with a focus on sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
- Language: Fluency in English is a must, given the international character of imec.
