Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team at PROGRESSIO BV. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation and internal rules and procedures.
  • Category Management: Manage procurement projects of various sizes within the Services category, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in tactical and strategic public procurement or a related role in a large company.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of procurement and negotiation techniques, including supplier sourcing, supplier negotiations, supplier selection, and supplier management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
