Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Affairs Intern to join our team in a hands-on and rewarding internship opportunity. As an intern, you will play a supporting role in maintaining and developing AESGP's interaction with European Union Institutions, policy makers, and other stakeholders.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring regulatory, policy, and legislative developments at the EU level and assessing their impact on the self-care industry.
  • Conducting research and assisting in the development of industry positions, communications, and presentations.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to ensure regulatory approaches that support members' interests.
  • Providing regulatory and scientific advice to AESGP members.
  • Coordinating internal member groups, including preparation, moderation of debates, building consensus, and advising on possible regulatory strategies.
  • Supporting the management of relations with AESGP members and external stakeholders.
  • Updating AESGP databases on the latest regulatory developments.
  • Accompanying AESGP representatives at relevant stakeholder meetings.
  • Attending and preparing for AESGP team meetings, committee meetings, and expert group meetings.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team and develop valuable skills and knowledge in the field of regulatory affairs.


Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in European Studies, Law, Political Science, Economics, Health Sciences, Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences.
  • Knowledge of the European Union processes and legislative procedures.
  • Understanding of the European healthcare area, with previous experience with EU legislation relevant to healthcare products being an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the European Union political environment and political developments impacting the healthcare sector.
