About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant European Energy Markets to join our team in Brussels. As a key member of our energy transition team, you will deliver high-quality analysis of financial aspects of energy markets, strategies, and questions related to investment and commercialisation.
Key Responsibilities
- You will lead in drafting proposals for clients for future projects and train team members.
- You will bring structure and knowledge to our new Belgian hub to accelerate the energy transition.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Energy Economics, Finance or similar.
- A solid understanding of electricity markets, their functioning, design, and dynamics as well as relevant market developments in Europe.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory framework on European electricity market integration and financial regulation.
- Around 10 years of experience in economic electricity market analysis and creating leads.
- Extensive network within European energy landscape.
- Ability to make professional relationships and affinity with diplomacy/stakeholder management.
- Very strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
