Are you a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for accounting? Do you have experience in a similar role and are looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant (m/f/x) to join our dynamic Statutory Accounting team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including the entry of supplier invoices, bank statement reconciliations, and processing payments. Additionally, you will contribute to closing operations to ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
Responsibilities:
Perform operational and daily tasks including the entry of supplier invoices for general expenses, bank statement reconciliations, and processing payments. Contribute to the closing operations to ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements. Tax & Fiscal Activities: Prepare all tax-related tasks and continuously look for improvements. Monitor cash management (banks and cash position) and provide guidelines or recommendations. Ensure compliance with current regulations applicable for the branch, including group accounting guidelines and secure timely closing activities. Conduct regular financial data quality reviews and meet local and group reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in an accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting techniques (Local Gaap, payroll, tax declaration etc.).
- Languages: FR or NL, good knowledge of EN is a plus.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office skills and accounting applications (SAP).
