**About the Opportunity**
Koda Staff is seeking an experienced Freelance Database Administrator to join their team on a long-term contract. This role offers a unique blend of on-site and remote work, with 50% of the time spent working in the office.
The ideal candidate will possess strong overall knowledge as a DBA, with expertise in SQL Server and a bonus for experience with Azure cloud services, Synapse, and Hyperscale. Familiarity with Oracle and DB2 is also desirable.
The client requires English & French or Dutch language proficiency, with excellent communication skills to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Design and implement database solutions to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve technical issues and improve database efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
