About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Funds Lawyer to join our growing Funds Legal team. As a senior funds lawyer at Euroclear, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive advice on applicable laws and regulations, drafting and negotiating contracts with counterparts and clients, and offering general legal support on various matters and projects.
You will closely collaborate with other lawyers within the Legal Division, as well as with business clients, risk colleagues and internal business teams. Developing and delivering training and guidance on legal matters to Euroclear staff will also be an important part of your role.
Requirements
- ">
- A European Master's in Law;">
- ~12 years or more of relevant experience in the funds industry and/or capital markets, preferably in a law firm specialized in the financial sector or as an in-house counsel of a bank or other financial institution;">
- ~ Strong knowledge of the financial industry, funds and market practices;">
- ~ Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in French is a plus;">
- ~ Ability to provide high-quality, consistent support across jurisdictions in a timely and cost-efficient manner;">
- ~ Willingness to learn and build a solid understanding of the business.">
