**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conceptualize, develop, or adapt software applications in line with methodologies and user requirements.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of all project requirements.
  • Translate functional and business analysis into programming language and architecture.
  • Study and discuss functional analysis with internal contacts.
  • Write code in agreed languages and adhere to quality standards.
  • Conduct Test-Driven Development.
  • Test programs in integrated environments following Agile methods.
  • Document software.
  • Report potential issues and propose optimal solutions.
  • Evaluate impact of potential changes on software modules and report any potential problems.

**Secondary Responsibilities:**

  • Quality assurance.
  • Write unit test scenarios.
  • Test final solutions as proposed to end-users.
  • Document unit test results.
  • Solve testing problems and retest.
  • Conduct continuous improvement through lessons learned after each milestone achieved.
  • Put improvement actions and good practices of software development into practice.
  • Assist team development through training and coaching of fellow team members.

**Technical Profile Requirements:**

  • Expert knowledge of programming languages: Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot.
  • Very good knowledge of software: REST API, JUnit, Mockito.
  • Very good knowledge of methodology: Agile, Object-Oriented.
  • Good knowledge of tools: JIRA, GIT.
  • Very good knowledge of development tools: IntelliJ, TomCat.
  • Expert knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Good coaching, training & leadership skills.
  • Magnolia CMS or ready to learn IT.

**Nice to Have:**

  • Jenkins CI/CD.
  • Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Maven.
  • Dynatrace.

**Non-Technical Profile Requirements:**

  • Able to accept personal responsibility for client satisfaction.
  • Strong tracking, coordination, and project planning skills.
  • Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations, and quality plans.
  • Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision.
  • Quick learner, motivated self-starter.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.
  • Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
  • Leadership skills compatible with over 5 years of professional experience.
  • Very good coaching & training skills.

**Methodology/Certification Requirements:**

  • Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
  • Advanced coursework in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred.

**Language Proficiencies:**

  • FR and/or Dutch.
  • ENG is a must.
