We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Health Team in Brussels as a 6-month paid trainee. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare public affairs, communications, and policy.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting team responses to clients' requests by contributing to the development and execution of communication and engagement campaigns;
- Focusing on health policies with occasional support on other projects in public affairs and communication across teams;
- Working closely with account leads and the team to provide media and policy monitoring, background research, analysis, and support in producing materials for clients;
- Assisting in implementing outreach and advocacy programs and organizing events in the Brussels' bubble;
- Contributing to marketing and business development efforts showcasing our expertise in navigating complex issues;
- Proactive, dynamic, and eager to learn with a strong interest in global and EU health policy and communications;
- A good understanding of EU policy and decision-making processes; previous experience within an EU/international institution, NGO, or consultancy is a plus but not required;
- Analytical skills with good writing abilities, demonstrating the ability to research and analyze policies/the political environment;
- Fluent English language skills; knowledge of other EU languages is a plus;
- Possess a drive to grow professionally and build a career in a challenging but exciting business environment;
- Familiarity with social media and digital communication;
- A university degree in political science, public affairs, international relations, health, health policy, law, or another relevant field;
