About the Role
Puratos is a global, Belgian family business with over 10,000 employees. Since 1919, we've been developing innovative ingredients for bakery, patisserie, and chocolate.

We are currently seeking an experienced Asset Care Manager to join our team in Grand-Bigard. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and contributing to our journey towards operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all asset care activities, ensuring equipment uptime, reliability, and smooth production.
  • Optimize maintenance processes to reduce costs and minimize downtime while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance strategy to enhance equipment lifespan.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, including outsourced activities like facilities management, to align with financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC, FDA, Halal, Kosher) across the site.

Requirements:
  • A Technical Master's degree or have a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in maintenance within a production environment, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Hands-on experience in asset management, preventive maintenance, and process optimization.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets and familiar with SAP.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with production, engineering, and reliability teams.
  • Passionate about maintenance and excited by the challenges of leading a complex, high-performing maintenance operation.
