The role of an Airworthiness Engineer at Air Belgium is to ensure the continuing airworthiness and operational reliability of the airline's aircraft structures. This position involves analyzing airworthiness data, implementing regulatory compliance, and improving technical standards to enhance safety and operational performance.
Main Tasks:- Support the Technical Management team in meeting Continuing Airworthiness requirements, focusing on aircraft structures.
- Analyze incoming airworthiness data, including Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other technical documentation, to assess relevance and applicability to Air Belgium's operations.
Techincal Support for Airworthiness
- Evaluate the applicability and compliance of aircraft ADs, prepare related engineering orders, task cards, and materials.
- Conduct technical investigations following occurrence reports related to aircraft structural defects or maintenance issues.
Airworthiness Data Analysis and Documentation Management
- Maintain up-to-date records of modification status and control the structural Modifications Binders.
- Keep track of damage binders and monitor painting requirements and approvals for the aircraft.
