About the Position
The Executive Director will be responsible for leading our team, developing and implementing a strategic plan, and ensuring compliance with national and international policies. This role also involves fostering an inclusive organisational culture and representing Greenpeace nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan in collaboration with experts, the Board, and Greenpeace International (GPI).
- Ensure financial sustainability and resilience.
- Comply with national and international policies.
- Foster an inclusive organisational culture.
- Represent Greenpeace nationally and internationally.
- Oversee financial management and ethical fundraising strategies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven leadership experience in NGOs or related sectors.
- Strong governance, stakeholder management, and strategic planning expertise.
- Affinity in ethical fundraising.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion and safety (JEDIS).
- Ability to speak and understand English/French/Dutch.
