We are a dynamic team at Koda Staff, and we're looking for a highly skilled Database System Specialist to join our ranks. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our databases.
Responsibilities- Database Management
You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of our databases, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Database Design and Implementation
You will design and implement database solutions that meet our business needs, working closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration.
- User Support
You will provide expert support to users who interact with our databases, including developers, DevOps, IT, and OPS teams.
- Database Backup and Restore
You will perform regular backups and restores of our databases, ensuring business continuity in case of any issues.
- Performance Monitoring and Tuning
You will monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize its performance.
Requirements- Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a database administrator is required. We also expect you to have proven experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MariaDB.
- Skills
You must possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as knowledge of installing large-scale databases.
Work ArrangementsThis is a full-time employee role based in Brussels, Belgium, with a flexible work arrangement that includes 2 days of onsite work and 3 days of remote work.
