Job Overview:
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to analyze and improve IT processes, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT deliverables.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop innovative solutions to drive digital transformation.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure seamless implementation of new processes and systems.
- Conduct impact analysis to ensure new requirements are feasible within existing IT infrastructure.
- Assist with project management tasks, such as tracking milestones and risk management.
- Support testing phases and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with external vendors or third-party service providers when needed.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in banking processes and IT systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst, specifically in the banking or financial services industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT systems, databases, and software development life cycles (SDLC). Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience with banking systems, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
- Business & Communication Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
- Tools: Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, BPMN, UML, and relevant software for requirements gathering and documentation.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.
