Air Belgium Aviation Coordinator

Purpose of the Position:
To ensure seamless coordination between line maintenance providers, minimize disruptions, and maintain aircraft readiness for scheduled flights.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
- Focal point of contact for routine matters with Line Station providers, ensuring efficient communication and effective management of scheduled maintenance, disruptions, and changes in aircraft schedule.
- Accurate reporting of technical disruptions and AIMS data accuracy to ensure timely updates and informed decision-making.
- Monitoring deferred defects, communicating impacts to stakeholders, and planning corrective actions with contracted Maintenance providers.
- Central coordination and communication point in case of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, including parts ordering, logistics, MRO liaison, customer reporting, and OEM support.
- Active fleet monitoring via in-flight systems to anticipate technical issues and mitigate operational impacts.
- Technical support to active flight crew experiencing technical issues.
- Adjusting day-to-day line maintenance planning as required.

- Reporting hazards, non-compliances, and risks to hierarchy and relevant parties.
- Maintaining a positive, open, and cooperative attitude to facilitate good working relationships while maintaining a critical and analytical mindset.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience as a line maintenance technician on complex aircraft.
- Experience in a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) approved on complex aircraft.
- Technical knowledge of modern Airbus aircraft systems.
- Good command of spoken and written English; French and Dutch are assets.
- Computer literacy with administration skills, familiar with MS Office and email systems.
- Holding a Part 66 license is an asset.
- Previous experience in a similar position is an asset.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to set priorities under operational pressure.
