Global Legal Affairs Specialist for UNICEF Brussels

UNICEF is a global organization dedicated to improving the lives of children. As a Global Legal Affairs Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our mission by providing legal advice and guidance to our teams around the world.
About the RoleThis is a one-year temporary assignment with our Child Nutrition Fund Management Unit. You will work closely with our legal team in Brussels to provide strategic legal solutions and support our clients across various locations.
Responsibilities- You will advise internal clients on governance, resource mobilization, supply and procurement, and regulatory compliance.
- You will support a broad spectrum of legal matters, including commercial contracts and private sector partnerships.
- You will report to the Senior Legal Affairs Specialist in Brussels and collaborate with other team members.
You will lead on matters relating to the Child Nutrition Fund, including governance, regulatory framework, resource mobilization agreements, and commercial negotiations.
Requirements- A minimum of 8 years' experience in practicing law in a relevant field.
- A post-graduate university law degree or equivalent.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in another official language of the United Nations is desirable.
