Key Accountabilities

The Technical Manager will be accountable for:

I. Strategic Maintenance Management

  • Maintain constant preventive monitoring of equipment and tools.
  • Oversight and validation of maintenance plans.
  • Intervention as an expert to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

II. Supplier Relations Management

  • Drafting specifications.
  • Negotiation and implementation (testing).
  • Contract management.
  • Management of spare parts inventory and procurement.

III. Change Management

  • Identification and successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Skills development, team structure optimization, process and workflow improvement.

IV. Continuous Process Improvement

  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimization of costs and increase equipment efficiency.

V. Technical Project Management

  • Leadership of major technical projects.
  • Installation of new equipment or infrastructure upgrades.

VI. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

  • Maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Compliance with safety standards.
  • Regulatory conformity of equipment.

VII. Technical Performance Management

  • Establishment, monitoring, and optimization of activity dashboards.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) (productivity, staffing, versatility, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Department budget.
