Resident Engineer

Inther Group International is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer - Liege to join our Service Team in Belgium.

As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing automated and mechanized storage systems at one of our customer sites in Liege. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless system operation while identifying areas for improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of installed systems and resolution of mechanical and electrical issues;
• Technical checks on automated and mechanized storage systems;
• Meeting and exceeding KPI targets;
• Collaboration with internal teams to optimize system performance;
• Development and implementation of improvement proposals.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A completed MBO education with a focus on Installation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering;
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good knowledge of Siemens S7 and TIA or comparable PLC control systems;
• Fluency in French and English languages, both spoken and written.
