We're seeking an experienced NodeJS developer to join our Headquarters in Hasselt, Belgium.
What We're Looking ForWe're on the hunt for a skilled Backend Developer who can help us enhance and expand our Product suite. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll work closely with your Product Owner, UI & Systems designer, and other engineers to develop new features and improve our AVIOBOOK Connect application.
This is a chat application that combines stakeholders from pilots to OCC, enabling secure and efficient communication while keeping them up-to-date with flight information.
- You'll be responsible for translating new features into code using Agile workflow principles.
- Your expertise in building backend services with NodeJS and Nest.js will drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality software.
- Has experience building backend services with NodeJS and Nest.js.
- Can set up a NodeJS build pipeline and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Is detail-oriented, flexible, and organized.
- Has excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Can apply security best practices and protect against OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Speaks and writes fluently in Dutch and English.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Informatics or equivalent through experience.
