We are looking for a Debt Resolution Professional to manage legal and financial processes related to debt recovery within our Recovery North Team at Nexeo. This role requires strong communication skills, stress resistance, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate incoming files to determine whether they can be legally closed in collaboration with management.
- Develop termination letters and implement collection strategies.
- Negotiate settlements with debtors or other security providers.
- In cases requiring legal involvement, collaborate with lawyers and track case progress.
- File debt claims in instances of bankruptcy.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding case handling.
- Manage accounting aspects of each file, including value adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related diploma in legal practice.
- Native proficiency in Dutch, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in French and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently.
- Stress-resistant, flexible, and a team player.
- Prior experience in insolvency matters is an asset.
- Recent law graduates are welcome to apply.
