As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and advising on infrastructure projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with architects, project managers, contractors, and external consultants. Performing geotechnical analyses, designs, and calculations. Conducting stability studies and calculations for various projects in accordance with Eurocodes and Belgian annexes. Designing structural elements in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry for both new construction and renovation projects. Utilizing advanced calculation and modeling software, including parametric modeling for complex infrastructure projects such as bridges and tunnels. Briefing and coordinating teams performing site and ground investigations. Advising on the most efficient construction methods and innovative solutions. Monitoring construction sites to ensure the correct application of stability studies and providing technical support as needed. We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure. A Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering. The ambition and capability to lead a team within the geotechnical department. Proven team leadership skills and the ability to work fairly autonomously. Experience with stability calculations and structural analyses. Knowledge and hands-on experience in infrastructure and/or civil construction projects. Familiarity with software such as SCIA Engineer, Revit, Tekla Structures, Robot Structural Analysis, and geotechnical software like Plaxis 2D and D-Sheet. Insight into project management and the overall construction process.
