Robert Half is currently seeking an Experienced General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X/) for a fixed-term contract with an international company in the luxury sector . The company is located in the center of Brussels . As a General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X/), you will collaborate with different countries to ensure accurate accounting records in all areas. Your responsibilities will include: conducting sales and bank reconciliations; managing intercompany transactions; handling accounts payable, taxes, and expense notes; preparing VAT declarations and intrastat reports; performing monthly and annual closings for the EMEA zone; monitoring fixed assets; completing ad-hoc tasks and reports as needed. The ideal candidate for this position as a General Ledger Accountant (M/F/X/) has: a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting ; 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role; excellent command of English and French or English and Dutch ; strong proficiency in Excel ; exceptional time management and interpersonal skills; a detail-oriented mindset and a desire to work in an international environment.
