CISO / information Security officer (NIS2 mission)Title: CISO / Information Security Officer - NIS2 ExpertEstimated duration: 110 days (possible extension until end of 2026)Location: Brussels - Gare Du Midi - 1st week onsite, then 2 days/week onsiteMission objectiveSupport the organization in achieving NIS2 compliance, in accordance with the requirements of the Cyberfundamental Platform of the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB).The CISO/ISO will act as an advisor and provide functional leadership for information security, working closely with a technical provider already selected.ResponsibilitiesAct as the main security reference for the NIS2 compliance programPerform and document risk assessments and define risk treatment plansDraft, update, and structure security policies, procedures, and guidelinesAdvise management and the project team on security governance and strategyMonitor the compliance work carried out by the external providerParticipate in committees and project meetings, prepare security reportingRaise awareness among internal teams on security best practicesEnsure documentation, plans, and controls comply with NIS2 requirementsRequired skills & experienceProven experience as CISO, Information Security Officer, or equivalent rolePractical and demonstrated experience in compliance with:NIS2 (ideal)or ISO 27001 / NISTStrong knowledge of risk assessment methodologiesUnderstanding of IT & security governance frameworksStrong writing and communication skillsKnowledge of ITSM environments is a plusAbility to work with both technical and non-technical teamsAutonomy, rigor, and strong communication abilitiesReportingThe consultant will report directly to the Head of IT
