We are searching for a Senior Azure Data Architect to strengthen our Microsoft-Team To join them in working on a new upcoming Azure-project.As a senior Azure Data Architect at LACO, you'll be responsible forSeeing the bigger picture and not just solving 1 specific problem for 1 specific businessUnderstanding where an organization wants to go, which goals they have set and creating an architecture for getting thereWorking proactively and designing with the future in mindMastering the art of translating solutions into plain and straightforward languageBeing an expert and participating in proposalsActing as a trusted adviser in middle managementAdding value to LACO as an organization by sharing your knowledge and organizing pitchesYour skillsYou have a Bachelor's and/or Master's in computer science or equivalentYou have experience with different data consumption techniques from traditional to more advanced analytics and AI perspective (Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning,...)Power BI means more to you than shiny graphs (and pie charts)You have at least 3 years of experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake or DatabricksYou have at least 3 years of experience with Power BI, Azure Data FactoryYou are fluent in SQL, Python, Spark and DAXYou have experience with data modelling techniques (Star Schemas, Dimensional Modelling, Kimball)You have experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practicesYou communicate clearly in Dutch and/or French and English (both written and spoken)You get even more bonus points if: You can present and defend your solutions in front of clientsYou are able to organize, facilitate and lead workshopsYou have (or aim for) the role-based Microsoft Data certifications, or Databricks certificationsOur offerWe're open to work with Employees and FreelancersReceive an attractive salary package, including a company car, along with excellent benefitsTraining opportunities to enhance your knowledge and advance your career in your chosen fieldBe involved in innovative Microsoft tracks that challenge and inspire youA great company culture with room for fun events such as: family day, yearly ski trip, sports events, game nights, ...Don't let this opportunity slip through your data fingers Get in touch with our one and only Talent Acquisition team and embark on your adventure to success.
