Job description As a Digital Senior Legal Counsel, you support Equans Digital Division and the digital transformation initiatives across all business units. You work on technology law, cybersecurity, AI and data-driven projects while helping teams innovate with confidence in fast-evolving digital environments.

Zoom on the job:
review, negotiate and draft technology agreements, including software licensing agreements, SaaS, PaaS and cloud services agreements, IT outsourcing agreements, system integration and implementation agreements, data-sharing agreements, smart building and connected solutions agreements, cybersecurity and managed services agreements, technology procurement contracts and AI solutions agreements
provide legal support for digital transformation projects and technology-driven initiatives across all business units
advise on the legal implications of cloud computing, data analytics, data lakes, Internet of Things (IoT), digital platforms, automation technologies and AI
advise business and technical stakeholders on legal obligations linked to evolving digital regulations and standards, including the EU AI Act, Product Liability Directive, ISO 42001, ISO 23894, ISO 27001 and IEC 62443
support the implementation of AI governance frameworks and internal policies
review AI use cases and digital solutions from legal and risk management perspectives
advise on cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, including NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act and the Cybersecurity Act
collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to assess digital risks and strengthen compliance programmes
develop and maintain policies, procedures, guidelines and contract templates relating to digital law matters
design and deliver internal training programmes on digital regulation, cybersecurity, AI and technology contracting
Profile Come as you are, ideally with:
master's degree in law
minimum 8-10 years of professional experience gained within a law firm and/or an international industrial, technology or services group
demonstrated expertise in technology contracting, digital regulation, cybersecurity and/or AI
strong understanding of the legal challenges associated with digital transformation and innovation
excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
ability to balance legal risk management with commercial and operational objectives
strong analytical, organisational and project management capabilities
business-oriented, pragmatic and solution-driven mindset
excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an asset
