Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Recruiter to help us attract and engage top technology talent across Belgium. This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and finding solutions in a competitive talent market. You have a strong network within the IT sector, are comfortable approaching candidates directly, and know how to build credibility with both candidates and business stakeholders. You combine recruitment expertise with a commercial mindset and enjoy working closely with the business to achieve results. You will play a key role in attracting both permanent employees and freelance consultants, partnering closely with Business Unit Leaders and Sales teams to support the continued growth of the business. As a Senior IT Recruitment Partner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process for both permanent and freelance IT positions. You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, bringing market insights, challenging assumptions and helping hiring managers make informed talent decisions.
Key responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for permanent and freelance IT profiles Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, events and other sourcing channels Build, maintain and leverage a strong network within the IT and technology market Conduct candidate interviews to ensure both technical and cultural fit Guide candidates throughout the recruitment process and create an excellent candidate experience Partner closely with Business Unit Leaders and Sales teams to understand hiring needs and business priorities Challenge and advise stakeholders on talent availability, market realities and recruitment strategies Develop creative sourcing approaches to identify niche and hard-to-find profiles Stay informed about technology trends and developments within the talent market Act as an ambassador for the company and contribute to strengthening our employer brand Qualifications Experience &
skills:
Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience within IT or technology recruitment Proven experience recruiting both permanent employees and freelance consultants Strong sourcing capabilities with a track record of successfully filling challenging roles Well-established network within the IT and technology community Commercial mindset and strong relationship-building skills Able to influence, challenge and advise stakeholders at different levels of the organisation Genuine interest in technology and the IT market Resilient and persistent in your approach to recruitment Strong communication and negotiation skills Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken Knowledge of French is an asset
