In a high-stakes, innovation-driven environment, we are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Architect to play a critical role in the development of next-generation firing systems and smart munitions. /p pYou’ll work within a multidisciplinary engineering team and be at the heart of architecture definition, embedded software design, validation, and integration for real-time systems deployed in mission-critical environments. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine and develop embedded software architectures aligned with overall system constraints. /li liEnsure architecture consistency and traceability across the entire project lifecycle, from concept to delivery. /li liGuide the technical direction of embedded software projects, providing leadership to developers and engineering teams. /li liTranslate high-level system specifications into robust embedded solutions, balancing processing power, communication interfaces, and real-time constraints. /li liMaintain and evolve existing software while contributing to new development initiatives. /li liGuarantee compliance with software quality standards (unit testing, code coverage, SonarQube, etc.). /li liCoordinate integration of embedded software with hardware components. /li liPerform debugging at low level using oscilloscopes, probes, and embedded dev tools. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams and support internal/external technical reviews. /li liMonitor technology trends and recommend innovative tools or methodologies. /li /ul h3Profile / Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Software or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent). /li liMinimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software development. /li liProven expertise in C and Python for embedded real-time systems (C++ is a strong asset). /li liSolid understanding of bare-metal and RTOS-based architectures (Linux RT, Yocto, Docker as a plus). /li liHands-on experience with communication protocols: CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553/1760, ARINC429, etc. /li liFamiliarity with NXP processors, Holt interfaces, Lauterbach TRACE32, and SEGGER debugging tools. /li liStrong knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and low-level hardware-software integration. /li liExperienced with Git-based workflows and tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube. /li liAbility to work in Agile or V-model development frameworks. /li liExcellent communication skills, mentoring mindset, and autonomy. /li liKnowledge of DO-178, ARP4754, or ISO 26262 standards is a strong plus. /li liExperience in aerospace, defense, or automotive industries is an advantage. /li /ul h3What
