Applicants must have the blegal right to work in Belgium. /b /p pJoin a highly skilled engineering team driving the evolution of global roaming and data core services. In this role, you'll take ownership of technical solutions from design to delivery, helping shape the next generation of connectivity services. /p h3Responsabilities /h3 ul liLead the analysis, architecture, design and implementation of network platforms and OSS solutions supporting service fulfilment, provisioning, assurance and automation. /li liOwn technical projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, integration and production deployment. /li liEvaluate network and OSS technologies, define target architectures and recommend platform evolutions based on business, operational and regulatory requirements. /li liCollaborate with Product, Operations, IT and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable and secure network solutions. /li liSupport vendor selection, RFI/RFP processes and technical assessments of third-party solutions. /li liProduce technical designs, architecture documentation, impact assessments and implementation guidelines. /li liDrive proof of concepts, technical trials and platform roadmap activities to validate new capabilities and technologies. /li liAct as the technical authority for the assigned domain, providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders, partners and suppliers. /li /ul h3Technical Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field. /li liAt least 6 years of experience in the telecommunications or IT industry. /li liStrong knowledge of telecommunications networks, mobile core technologies and international roaming services. /li liHands‑on expertise in mobile packet core technologies (4G/5G), including components such as SMF, UPF, PGW, SGW and roaming interfaces like S8 and N4. /li liSolid understanding of roaming architectures and services, including VoLTE, IMS, Home Routing, Local Breakout (LBO) and roaming hub solutions. /li liKnowledge of signalling and telecom protocols such as Diameter, SS7 and SCTP. /li liExperience configuring, operating and troubleshooting telecom platforms, including monitoring and testing tools such as Splunk and SIGOS. /li liFamiliarity with Linux environments, scripting and automation (Bash, Python or similar). /li liExposure to cloud, containerisation and DevOps technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, CI/CD) is a plus. /li liExperience in the international carrier or wholesale telecommunications industry is an advantage. /li liExcellent written and spoken English. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to approach challenges creatively and efficiently. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling smooth collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. /li liSolid coordination and planning capabilities, with flexibility to adapt to changing situations and unexpected issues. /li liProactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and willingness to learn fast and go the extra mile when needed. /li liWell-organized, resilient under pressure, and able to manage risks effectively with quick and sound decision-making. /li liResult-oriented, customer-focused
