Job Description
In the context of its growing activities abroad, BESIX Power is looking for a new Corporate and Project Finance Manager directly reporting to the BESIX Power Director.
This is a senior, highly hands-on role for a commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable advising leadership while also taking direct ownership of day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
As Corporate and Project Finance expert, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the M&A strategy, supporting the BESIX Power strategic growth through the evaluation and execution of investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and other corporate development initiatives In parallel, you will support the team with project coordination and performance tracking (KPIs), ensuring alignment with executive stakeholders and strategic goals.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, engineering, finance, tax, legal and operations, and senior management, while collaborating with external advisors, lenders, investors and counterparties to deliver strategic projects and transactions.
Buy-side M&A: Together with the Director, leading and coordinating end-to-end M&A transaction processes, including screening and identification of M&A opportunities, financial due diligence, financial analysis and valuation models, negotiations, transaction structuring, documentation, signings and closings and executing acquisitions that align with the long-term strategy of BESIX Power.
Modelling: Develop, maintain and review integrated financial models to support investment evaluation, business planning, strategic decision-making and transaction execution across BESS, solar and wind. You will take taking full accountability for quality and delivery.
Financing: Leads valuation, structuring and scenario analysis across equity and debt investments.
Support: portfolio monitoring and financial reporting including preparation of executive-level presentations, investment memos, and reports for internal and external stakeholdersBudget: Oversees (and be responsible for) cost control, budgeting and financial reporting for BESIX Power.
QualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.7-10 years of experience in investment banking, other forms of M&A advisory, project finance, valuation, ideally with exposure and/or strong interest for renewable energy and energy transitionStrong financial modelling skills and an understanding of project and corporate financeExcellent analytical and presentation skillsAbility to manage work under pressure in a collaborative environmentProactive and self drivenComfortable to an entrepreneurial setting with a positive, can-do attitudeExcellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across internal and external stakeholdersFluency in English.
