Job Description:

GDIT is searching for a Sr. Web Developer to join our EMITS Program team supporting U.S. Army Europe in Mons Belgium.

HOW A SR. WEB DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Configures COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) business applications and in-house developed solutions.
  • Consults and collaborates with business leaders, end users, IT staff, vendors, and other third parties and is involved in every phase of the application development lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
  • Designs creative prototypes according to specifications.
  • Tests code and conducts functional and non-functional testing.
  • Enhances applications to automate business processes as best possible.
  • Reviews and analyzes software defects.
  • Troubleshoots/debugs/identifies malfunctioning systems and implements software fixes.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills required.
  • Must have strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Experience: 5 years of related job experience required.
  • Education: BA/BS Degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
  • Security Clearance Required: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Certification: DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SharePoint 2016 or 2019 experience.
  • Related SharePoint training/certification.
  • Substantial experience with custom solution development.
  • SharePoint infrastructure maintenance and security hardening.
