The organisation combines a strong regulatory and risk management culture with an ambitious technology and digital transformation agenda. They are looking for a Head of IT based in Luxembourg. /p pThe organisation fosters collaboration between Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Internal Audit, and Business teams, creating an environment where technology is viewed as a strategic enabler of growth, resilience, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will join a leadership team committed to strengthening governance, enhancing resilience frameworks, and supporting the bank's long‑term transformation objectives. /p h3Job Description /h3 pAs Head of IT, you will be responsible for defining and strengthening the local technology governance framework while ensuring alignment with business strategy, risk appetite, and Group Technology standards. /p pKey responsibilities include: /p ul liLeading the local technology governance agenda and establishing effective governance committees, KPIs, KRIs, and reporting structures. /li liActing as the primary point of contact for technology-related matters involving the CSSF and coordinating regulatory responses, inspections, reviews, and remediation activities. /li liOwning the local ICT risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, reporting, mitigation planning, and ongoing monitoring. /li liProviding clear and actionable technology risk reporting to senior management and governance bodies. /li liDriving the implementation and continuous enhancement of DORA requirements and digital operational resilience capabilities. /li liOverseeing ICT incident management processes, resilience testing, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery exercises. /li liManaging third‑party technology risks, including outsourced services, cloud environments, contractual obligations, information registers, and exit strategies. /li liMonitoring technology service delivery, performance, capacity, control effectiveness, vulnerabilities, and resilience metrics. /li liCoordinating internal and external audits while ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions. /li liCollaborating closely with Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Group Technology stakeholders. /li liLeading and developing the local technology team while promoting a strong governance, risk, and control culture. /li liSupporting strategic technology initiatives, transformation programmes, and regulatory projects across the organisation. /li /ul h3The Successful Applicant /h3 pThe ideal candidate is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in technology governance, ICT risk management, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector. /p pKey requirements include: /p ul liMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in technology leadership, governance, risk, or control-related functions. /li liProven experience within banking, financial services, or another highly regulated environment. /li liStrong understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory landscape, particularly CSSF technology-related requirements. /li liDemonstrated exposure to regulatory reviews, audits, supervisory inspections, and remediation programmes. /li liExperience overseeing outsourced ICT services, cloud environments, and third‑party technology providers. /li liStrong knowledge of ICT risk management frameworks, operational resilience, cybersecurity governance, and DORA requirements. /li liAbility to communicate complex technology and risk concepts to executive stakeholders in a concise and business‑oriented manner. /li liExperience working within matrix organisations and managing relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. /li liUniversity degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline. /li liProfessional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, CISSP, ITIL, or ISO 27001 are considered a strong advantage. /li liFluent English Spanish are mandatory, while French would be considered an asset. /li /ul h3What's on Offer /h3 pThis role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead the technology governance and risk agenda of a respected international banking institution in Luxembourg. /p pThe successful candidate will benefit from: /p ul liA senior leadership position with significant visibility across local and Group management. /li liThe opportunity to influence strategic technology, governance, and regulatory initiatives. /li liExposure to key regulatory topics including CSSF requirements, ICT risk management, cybersecurity governance, and DORA compliance. /li liThe chance to drive digital operational resilience and strengthen the bank's overall risk and control
