key responsibilities
/b /pulliDesign, implement, maintain and optimize Microsoft‑based infrastructure environments. /liliLead and execute end‑to‑end server migrations, including Windows Server upgrades and infrastructure modernization projects. /liliManage and migrate Active Directory environments, including domain migrations, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and authentication services. /liliImplement and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including platform upgrades, Always On Availability Groups and Windows Failover Clustering. /liliPerform application and file server migrations, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime. /liliWork with hybrid infrastructure environments, combining on‑premises Microsoft technologies with cloud‑based solutions. /liliPrepare and execute migration strategies, including cutover planning, rollback scenarios and post‑migration validation. /liliTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide sustainable technical solutions. /liliCollaborate directly with customers, understand their technical requirements and take ownership of project delivery. /liliDeliver clear technical documentation, as‑built documentation and knowledge transfer to operational teams. /li /ulpYou'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for your projects while collaborating with specialized experts whenever specific technical challenges require additional expertise. /ph3Qualifications /h3pDo you have a strong technical background in Microsoft infrastructure and several years of hands‑on experience? /ppbYour technical expertise includes: /b /pullibWindows Server: /b Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and preferably 2025. /lilibActive Directory: /b Strong knowledge of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPO) and FSMO roles. /lilibSecurity Authentication: /b Understanding of Kerberos, service accounts, authentication mechanisms and Microsoft PKI / Certificate Services. /lilibSQL Server: /b Experience with SQL Server 2019/2022, Always On Availability Groups and SQL platform migrations. /lilibHigh Availability: /b Knowledge of Windows Failover Clustering and business‑critical infrastructure environments. /lilibMicrosoft Infrastructure Services: /b Experience with IIS, File Services, DFS, NTFS permissions, Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and RemoteApp. /lilibVirtualization: /b Operational knowledge of VMware vSphere. /lilibHybrid Cloud: /b Good understanding of hybrid Microsoft infrastructure environments and their integration with cloud technologies. /lilibMigration Projects: /b Proven experience with end‑to‑end server, domain, application and file server migrations. /lilibProject Delivery: /b Experience with migration planning, cutover execution, rollback strategies, technical validation and documentation. /li /ulpbAnd are you… /b /pulliAn experienced Wintel Engineer with approximately 5–10+ years of relevant experience? /liliA hands‑on technical expert who enjoys taking ownership from start to finish? /liliComfortable independently managing complex infrastructure migrations? /liliStrong in troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem‑solving? /liliSomeone who combines technical expertise with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset? /liliA clear communicator who enjoys working directly with customers and technical stakeholders? /liliStructured in your approach, with attention to documentation, kno
