CloserHire is partnering with a fast-growing European company in the e-mobility sector to recruit E-Bike Mechanics for its refurbishment centre in Mechelen. This role is based in a modern workshop environment, where you will work alongside a team of experienced mechanics restoring a wide variety of electric bikes. The position offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills while working on diverse and increasingly complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

Mechelen, Belgium Language: French Start date: ASAP Your Role Inspect, service, and repair a wide range of electric bikes across different brands and models Follow structured quality control standards to ensure each bike meets high refurbishment requirements Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, including components such as bearings, motors, and transmission systems Apply practical and creative solutions to ongoing technical challenges Collaborate closely with other mechanics to ensure efficient workshop operations Record and document all work carried out using internal digital tools

Your Profile
At least 1 year of experience as a bicycle mechanic or in a similar mechanical role Strong technical skills in bike mechanics Interest in e-bikes and willingness to learn electrical components (previous e-bike experience is a plus, not mandatory) Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail Team player with a proactive and reliable working style What Is Offered Permanent contract (CDI), full-time – 35 hours/week

Working hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 15:30 Modern workshop equipped with high-quality tools and equipment Work alongside a team of 25+ experienced mechanics Exposure to a wide variety of e-bike models (city, mountain, cargo, speed bikes) Transportation cost support On-site parking available Easily accessible location (car, RER C, bike parking) Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced and innovative environment Recruitment: All mechanics need to go through a on-site Trial (of ~2h) where they will have an ebike to repair (they will be evaluated based on capacity of finding the problems and repairing them) If they are abroad, first a virtual session will be organized
