Location:
Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – minimum 3 days on-site per week) Contract Duration: Long-term consultancy assignment (up to 2 years, renewable) Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect to support the implementation and evolution of an enterprise-wide data strategy within a large-scale utility environment. The role focuses on data governance, data architecture, reporting strategy, and the promotion of a strong data-driven culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support and enhance enterprise data governance initiatives Coordinate and manage data-related transformation and governance projects Define and improve reporting and analytics strategies across departments Design and evolve enterprise data architecture and data lineage processes Drive data usage initiatives including reporting, automation, analytics, and AI solutions Coordinate reporting automation projects with IT teams Define prioritization mechanisms for reporting and data development initiatives Promote data culture, governance standards, and cross-department collaboration Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO27001, and NIS2 requirements Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in data governance and data management Expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and reporting solutions Experience with ETL, SQL, data storage, and data integration processes Strong knowledge of Power BI and reporting frameworks Experience with IT transformation and enterprise data initiatives Understanding of BPMN, change management, and process optimization Knowledge of SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage Familiarity with ITIL and test management practices Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Languages French: Full professional proficiency Dutch: Full professional proficiency English: Professional working proficiency Focus of the Role Driving enterprise data governance, reporting strategy, and data architecture initiatives while supporting digital transformation and promoting a data-driven culture across the organization.
