pbDeadline Date: /b Monday 12 October 2026 /p pbRequirement: /b Senior Engineer DCS /p pbLocation: /b Mons, BE /p pbFull Time On-Site: /b Yes /p pbTime On-Site: /b 100% /p pbTotal Scope of the request (hours): /b 350 /p pbRequired Start Date: /b 17 November 2026 /p pbEnd Contract Date: /b 31 December 2026 /p pbRequired Security Clearance: /b NATO SECRET /p h3Duties Role /h3 ul liESOC Engineer, Enterprise Service Operations Centre Level 2 network support; /li liManage daily network operations, ticketing, incidents, work orders, changes and problem management /li liNetwork Optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle activities across enterprise environments; /li liConfigure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and STP; /li liMonitor network health using CA Spectrum and Splunk and other monitoring platforms; create dashboards, alerts, and operational reports; /li liAnalyze logs and telemetry data to proactively identify risks, incidents, and performance issues; /li liImprove operational efficiency through automation of configuration management, backups, and change validation; /li liUtilize network monitoring tools to track availability, latency, bandwidth, and device health; /li liLead incident response for critical outages, coordinate stakeholders, and restore services within SLA targets; /li liServe as the senior technical escalation point for complex network issues and strategic initiatives; /li liMaintain accurate documentation, standards, and operational procedures for the network environment; /li /ul h3Specific Working Conditions /h3 pSome work outside normal office hours may be required. /p h3Requirements /h3 h3Skills, Knowledge Experience /h3 ul liThe candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance /li liMinimum CCNP certification (Enterprise or equivalent advanced networking certification) /li li7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations /li liStrong expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, STP) /li liExperience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting dashboards, and alerting /li liHands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools /li liExperience with incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution /li /ul
