pAre you an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit activities in an international Manufacturing environment? This bFinancial Accountant /b position in Walloon Brabant offers a broad scope of responsibilities, combining accounting, tax and reporting with strong exposure to both Belgian and German entities. Working closely with the Financial Controller and various internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance and supporting continuous improvement. /p brpbYour responsibilities as a Financial Accountant : /b /pulliLead statutory accounts preparation and external audits for Belgian and German entities. /liliCoordinate audit timelines and liaise with external auditors and advisors. /liliManage VAT, Intrastat, corporate tax and other local tax filings. /liliEnsure compliance with local reporting and tax requirements. /liliMaintain appropriate tax and transfer pricing documentation. /liliPerform month-end activities, including balance sheet, inventory and accrual reviews. /liliConduct regular balance sheet reviews with the wider accounting team. /liliSupport Group Finance and Tax activities and ad-hoc projects. /liliBuild strong relationships with auditors, advisors and other external stakeholders. /liliEnsure finance systems and processes comply with local requirements. /liliContribute to continuous improvement and ensure business continuity within the finance team. /li /ul brpbAbout the candidate : /b /pulliYou have minimum 4 years of experience in a similar accounting position. /liliYou have minimum 2 years of experience in statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance. /liliYou have a solid background in general accounting. /liliYou hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. /liliYou have experience with Belgian and/or German statutory reporting, VAT and Intrastat. /liliYou are trustworthy, discreet and comfortable handling confidential information. /liliYou work effectively both independently and collaboratively in an international environment. /liliYou are proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP; Oracle EBS is an asset. /liliYou are fluent in English and French and have a good understanding of German. /liliYou bring an open mindset and are motivated by continuous improvement. /liliYou have experience in the pharmaceutical sector, which is considered an asset. /li /ul brpbThe offer : /b /pulliOpportunities for career development, training and coaching. /liliA strong work-life balance within an international environment. /liliAttractive transportation benefits, including public transport reimbursement. /lili€10/day meal vouchers and eco-cheques. /liliA comprehensive group insurance package, including hospitalisation insurance. /li /ul pJoining this international environment means becoming part of the Belgian subsidiary of a large multinational group, offering international exposure, professional development opportunities, and a varied finance scope.
