ppBruxelles, Belgium | Posted on 03/03/2026 /p pThe FOCUS platform supports administrative and operational processing of police case handling (assignments, file building, follow-up, reporting, and integrations with internal and external systems). /p pThe system is business-critical and developed according to modern engineering principles within an Agile setup. /p pThe client is looking for abSenior Full Stack Developer /b with strong ownership mindset — someone who safeguards quality, architectural consistency, and technical maturity within the team. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liDevelop backend services using Node.js (TypeScript-first approach). /li liBuild performant and maintainable frontends in React. /li liWork with PostgreSQL in production environments. /li liContribute to architecture decisions focusing on scalability and security. /li liImplement test automation and safeguard code quality. /li liWork in an Agile/Scrum team. /li liContribute to improvement of ways-of-working. /li liCoach and guide fellow developers. /li liTake ownership of technical standards and development practices within the platform. /li /ul h3Must Have /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years experience in development of web-based applications. /li liStrong backend development experience with Node.js. /li liStrong frontend experience with React. /li liExperience with PostgreSQL and relational databases. /li liDutch language proficiency – CEFR C2. /li liWillingness to sign NDA and IT Code of Conduct. /li /ul h3Should Have /h3 ul liExperience leading or coaching development teams. /li liStrong coding, testing and debugging capabilities. /liliExperience with Agile/Scrum methodology. /li liExperience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure). /li liExperience with Docker and containerisation. /li liExperience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation. /li liExperience taking a leading role in Agile development environments. /li /ul /p
