Are you an experienced Field Service Technician looking for a hands-on role in the energy sector?
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair energy systems at customer sites across Belgium. You’ll work independently in the field while collaborating with Support Engineers to ensure systems are restored safely, reliably and efficiently.
What will you do?
- Perform preventive and annual maintenance on Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and transformer substations
- Diagnose faults, replace components and restore systems to operation
- Carry out inspections, measurements and technical checks
- Work with Support Engineers on complex technical issues
- Document service activities, faults and materials in the ticketing system
- Maintain your service vehicle, tools and equipment
- Follow all HSE and safety procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve products, processes and customer support
What are we looking for?
- Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field (MBO 4 / TSO / BSO)
- Minimum 3 years of technical field service experience in a B2B environment
- Experience with power electronics is a strong advantage
- Valid Category B driving licence
- VCA VOL and NEN certifications, or willingness to obtain them
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English; French is an advantage
- Willingness to travel throughout Belgium and neighbouring countries
- Flexibility to work occasional evening/weekend shifts
