Your mission
As a Cybersecurity Architect with a strong OT focus, you will translate cybersecurity strategy into practical, secure architectures and solutions. You’ll help embed security requirements into business operations while protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical systems and data.
What you’ll do
- Translate cybersecurity programme objectives into secure ICT and OT architectures.
- Strengthen cybersecurity maturity across the organisation.
- Further integrate OT security and smart assets into the overall security perimeter.
- Apply security standards and methodologies such as NIST, ISO 27001/27002 and IEC 62443.
- Design secure business processes, systems and technical solutions.
- Develop application inventories, system diagrams and conceptual/functional architectures.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise security architecture.
- Help establish secure connections and integrations with external entities.
- Contribute to cybersecurity strategy, standards and architectural decisions.
- Ensure project deliverables are properly integrated into the security team's way of working.
- Support governance, KPIs, roles and responsibilities to maintain strong organisational hygiene.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years of ICT experience, including:
- 5+ years in ICT Architecture
- 3+ years in Cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of:
- NIST, ISO 27K, IEC 62443 and security methodologies
- Secure system and software design
- Network and cloud security
- Security architecture
- Cybersecurity improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand complex business models and technical environments and translate them into security requirements, constraints and solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security and technical topics to different stakeholders.
- Knowledge of one or more complex operational/business domains is a strong advantage.
- Fluent English plus one of the Belgian national languages (Dutch or French).
