br/br/The European School Brussels III is seeking to recruit abr/br/Teacher of Economics (m/f)br/br/for thebr/br/French Language Section of the Secondary Cyclebr/br/. This is abr/br/part-time positionbr/br/(approximatelybr/br/16 teaching periods per weekbr/br/) offered via abr/br/replacement contract starting on 12 October 2026br/br/. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multilingual and multicultural educational environment and contribute to the academic development and well-being of students in accordance with the values and educational objectives of the European Schools. The teacher will be employed as abr/br/Locally Recruited Teacher (LRT)br/br/under the terms and conditions set out in thebr/br/Service Regulations for Locally Recruited Teachers in the European Schools. Profilebr/br/Native speaker or thorough knowledge of the teaching language (French : C2 level) Recognized qualifications and/or university degree (validated by the national authorities) which qualify to teach in the secondary school Knowledge of at least one second working language of the school (English) European citizen or person having a valid working permit in Belgium Ability to teach mixed classes using effective differentiation Strong motivation in teaching in a multicultural and multilingual environment Ability to work and to cooperate with colleagues, management and families Offerbr/br/Starting day : 12 October 2026 Availabilitybr/br/:

salary:
