Freelance Senior Tester - Long Term - Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Test Analyst to join a delivery-focused team, ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications. The successful candidate will lead test analysis activities, design and execute comprehensive test cases, manage defects throughout the test lifecycle, and drive best practices across testing processes. Experience with Jira and Xray Test Management is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed test analysis based on business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios using Jira Xray.
- Develop and manage test plans, test execution cycles, and test evidence.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects through to resolution.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Support release activities and provide quality assurance sign-off recommendations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst, QA Analyst, or Software Tester.
- Strong background in test analysis, test case design, and test execution.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Xray Test Management.
- Experience managing defects and test artefacts throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, system, and regression testing techniques.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- HOURS PER WEEK: Full time
- LANGUAGES: English only (Dutch or French a bonus)
