Accenture’s Industry & Enterprise – Financial Services practice operates across industries, including financial services.
The Finance, Risk and Compliance (F&R&C) team focuses on supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Risk officer (CRO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in transforming their respective functions to make them future proof. With strong expertise, our F&R&C professionals design, build and deliver high-value solutions to our clients.
As a consultant in the Finance, Risk and Compliance team, you will contribute to both your project team and your client counterpart at leading financial institutions in BeLux and abroad in the financial services industry:You will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering high value solutions that help our clients move forward in every part of their Finance Function. You will contribute to both your project team and your client counterpart at leading clients in BeLux and abroad in the financial services (FS) industry.
Project management is key: following up on both the difficulties as well as on the impact of the solutions you have proposed and implemented.
You will be involved in diverse business development activities and sell innovative projects to transform the Finance function together with the industry and functional experts.
DutiesManage projects related to the implementation of new regulations, remediation of audit findings, and advisory on organizational and technical optimization to meet regulatory requirements efficiently. Leverage analytical and technical skills to steer the team towards exceptional insights.
Develop a strong network of clients, experts, colleagues, and colleagues within Accenture.
Actively keep track of latest regulations and compliance trends and opportunities they entail.
In addition, you will:Build and maintain strong client relationships to accelerate company business growth.
Act as the entrepreneur of your own career by defining and executing business development and sales initiatives.

Your backgroundMaster’s degree in law, European affairs, business economics, Finance/Risk Management or related fields. 2 to 5 years of experience within the financial services industry, in regulatory and compliance functions, public affairs, compliance transformation, non-financial risk management or GRC implementation.
Proficiency in English and Dutch or FrenchUnderstanding and knowledge of relevant regulatory landscapes such as Mifid/IDD, KYC/AML/Anti-Financial crimes, PSD II, Data privacy & GDPR, SFRD, CSRD, EU taxonomy & ESG requirements, DORA.
Understanding of digitalization and data analytics potentials for process optimization.
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in supporting business development.
Experience in client-facing environments, delivering changes through activities such as requirements definition, gap analysis, and solution design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g., storytelling, stakeholder management).
High proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Python) is a plus.
Ability related to:Supporting clients in defining non-financial risks appetites.
Transform business & regulatory needs into actionable IT requirements.
Setting up adequate governance structures and controls frameworks to ensure compliance.
