Join our growing development team in Belgium and work on complex, enterprise-grade software for international clients across the EU and UK. You will work closely with project managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on modern technologies, solving real business problems, and contributing to end-to-end product development. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java and modern frontend technologies Build and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and business logic Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases where required Work closely with QA teams to support testing and issue resolution Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Java development Good understanding of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices Familiarity with Git and version control workflows Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and web services Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as within a team Preferred Qualifications
Experience with microservices architecture Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with Hibernate / JPA Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and frontend testing tools Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation Proficiency in French and/or Dutch would be considered a strong advantage Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Relevant professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, Java Developer, or similar role What We Offer
