Bedrijfsomschrijving As a Project Lead Multidisciplinary Engineering – Data Centres, you will join an international engineering and consultancy firm specialising in the design and delivery of complex technical projects. Within this position, the focus is on Mission Critical Facilities and data centres. These are technically demanding buildings where systems such as electrical power supply, cooling, redundancy, safety and operational continuity need to be closely integrated. You will become part of a Belgian engineering team that is being further developed around data centre projects. From Belgium, you will work closely with international engineering teams on projects for both national and international clients. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment where different technical areas of expertise come together to design and deliver complex projects. Functieomschrijving As a Project Lead Multidisciplinary Engineering – Data Centres, you coordinate the entire engineering and design process. You monitor the technical scope, planning and engineering budget, ensuring that the different disciplines work together towards one integrated design. Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams within complex data centre projects Manage the technical scope, engineering budget and associated contract documentation Prepare and monitor the engineering schedule and allocate tasks within the team Coordinate the different technical disciplines and ensure alignment between their designs Coordinate collaboration between Belgian and international engineering teams Work closely with external consultants, contractors and other technical partners Review technical design decisions and challenge or adjust them where necessary Manage design changes and assess their impact on the overall project Translate complex client requirements into technically feasible solutions Present and discuss technical concepts with clients and project teams Remain involved during the execution phase and act as a technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders Functie-eisen For the position of Project Lead Multidisciplinary Engineering – Data Centres, we are looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent coordination skills. Experience within data centres is an advantage, but experience with industrial buildings or other technically complex building projects can also be a strong match. You hold a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline You have at least 5 years of experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering or design projects You have experience leading and coordinating engineers and other technical stakeholders You are familiar with complex technical building installations and multidisciplinary engineering Experience with data centres, industrial buildings or other complex built environments is a strong advantage You are familiar with digital engineering processes, 3 D design and BIM environments You have a good understanding of relevant standards, regulations and working methods within engineering and construction You communicate effectively with engineers, consultants, contractors and clients English knowledge is a must, Dutch and French are a plus Relevant experience is essential for this position.
