ppWe're seeking an expert Java Developer to join our squad, responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions for our features. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our internal and external clients. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications using Spring boot and related technologies /liliLead the setup of our future applications and focus developments on delivering customer value and code quality /liliCollaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet our standards /liliAnalyze and refine requirements to deliver new functionalities in a user-friendly and efficient manner /liliChampion code quality, organization, and automation, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards /liliYou will work on green fields and hexagonal architecture, tdd/bdd and pair programming should be the status quo for you. /li /ulh3Ideal Profile /h3pAt least 8 years of relevant experience (Java dev) /ph3Technical experience /h3pMandatory /pulliSpring (Boot) /liliMaven /liliJava development, with a strong focus on technical expertise and a passion for clean code, ways of working, and refactoring monolithic applications /liliStrong understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns /liliExperience with relational databases (Oracle), messaging systems (Kafka), and service buses /liliFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, as well as experience with testing frameworks and continuous integration/delivery pipelines /liliExperience with Domain-Driven Design and/or hexagonal architecture, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery /liliFamiliarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus /liliExperience with integration using different technologies (distributes/mainframe) and infra components /liliReactJS /li /ulh3Business experience /h3pMandatory /pulliKnowledge of agile methodology /liliProven experience in leading technical projects, setting technical direction, and collaborating with cross-functional teams /liliExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions /liliExcellent analysis skills /liliTeam spirit /liliAmbitious towards the targets of his/her squad /liliPromote continuous improvement (market evolutions, working methods, …) to improve delivery speed of software and hardware, and to improve operational quality /liliStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment /li /ulpLanguages: Dutch and/or French (active and passive of the other) + English /p /p
