The Director / Senior Director [TBD], Strategic Alliances serves as the Enterprise Lead for argenx’s partnership ecosystem with Thermo Fisher Scientific [TFS], acting as the enterprise owner, architect, and steward of a strategic relationship spanning clinical development and development operations, clinical supply interfaces, quality, and enabling functions. This role carries primary strategic accountability for the global relationship and works in close partnership with leaders across argenx and TFS to align intent, simplify complexity, and connect teams so argenx engages the partnership as one coherent enterprise alliance, not a fragmented, study-by-study set of interactions. The Director / Senior Director intentionally embeds integration, governance, innovation, quality, and value creation across the full partnership portfolio, enabling faster decisions, more consistent delivery, and measurable outcomes for patients while modeling the argenx Way of Partnering.

Enterprise Partnership LeadershipServe as the enterprise-level point of contact for the global TFS partnership, ensuring argenx shows up with one aligned enterprise voice across clinical development and operations, quality, supply interfaces, and enabling functionsRepresent argenx as a thoughtful, engaged, and outcome-oriented partner protecting enterprise value by reducing fragmentation, eliminating misaligned asks, and reinforcing partnering behaviors grounded in empowerment, transparency, shared accountability, and the argenx Way of PartneringPartner closely with the Breakthrough Partner (BP) Lead as a key senior stakeholder, ensuring alliance strategy, governance, priorities, and partner engagement are aligned with BP objectives and enterprise needEnterprise Alignment and ConnectionAct as an enterprise connector with end-to-end visibility across the TFS partnership portfolio, helping align argenx teams, communities, and leaders with partner capabilities in an intentional and coordinated mannerClarify enterprise intent and priorities for TFS and across argenx, proactively identifying and resolving duplication, conflicting priorities, or misalignment across functions, regions, and delivery modelsEnable effective, faster decision-making by establishing clear pathways (decision rights, escalation routes, and leadership cadence), shared understanding of roles, and alignment on desired outcomes across argenx and TFSEstablish and maintain strong working rhythms with the BP Lead to ensure visibility across TFS activities, timely escalation of cross-functional issues, and alignment on decisions that affect the broader partnership modelValue Creation, Innovation, and GrowthCo-create and evolve a multi-year alliance strategy and enterprise value narrative for TFS, linking argenx priorities with partner strengths and identifying opportunities for greater impact, scalability, and shared valueDevelop a deep understanding of TFS capabilities across clinical operations delivery, patient recruitment, laboratory services, data and systems, quality, and global scale, translating those capabilities into practical models that help teams execute with greater clarity and speedSupport internal teams in moving from transactional engagement toward co-creation, repeatable innovation, and differentiated enterprise value, converting scale and spend into measurable acceleration, quality, and outcomesCo-create an end-to-end partnership model with TFS that connects capabilities, governance, decision-making, and innovation pathways across the relationship, enabling TFS to engage argenx more effectively while helping argenx capture greater enterprise value, speed, quality, and scalabilityCollaborate with TFS and the BP Lead to identify and prioritize future-facing innovation opportunities, emerging capabilities, and new partnership approaches that advance argenx’s business priorities and evolve the enterprise partnership model beyond today’s workRequired Capabilities and ExperienceExtensive experience leading and evolving complex, enterprise-critical partnerships spanning multiple functions (e.g., clinical development/operations, quality, clinical supply interfaces, data/systems, and enabling functions) in a global, highly regulated env
