About Our Client

As Data Manager, you will define and drive the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring strong governance, data quality, security, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in unlocking business value through data, analytics, and AI across operations, finance, ESG, and corporate functions.
Job Description
Define and execute the company's enterprise-wide data strategy.
Establish data governance frameworks, ownership models, and quality standards.
Develop and oversee the roadmap, programs, and projects required to implement the data strategy.
Drive data-enabled transformation across business functions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and critical infrastructure requirements.
Build the foundations required for advanced analytics and AI adoption.
Lead and develop a team of 10–15 experts.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and board-level decision-makers.
Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
The Successful Applicant
Master's degree required.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership positions within Data, IT, Digital, or Transformation environments.
Proven experience in deploying enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and major data transformation initiatives.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps and drive large-scale organizational change.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to executive audiences.
Experience within industry, infrastructure, utilities, energy, manufacturing, or other regulated sectors is highly valued.
Exposure to OT/IT environments, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, SCADA, telemetry, AI, or NIS2-related topics is an asset.
Strong people management and transversal leadership skills.
Humble, resilient, influential, and able to navigate complex environments with calm and credibility.
Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
